Edutech Institute of Technology an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Institution was established in the year 2017 under the patronage of Founder Chairman Mr. Dhrubajyoti Kalita and as a part of Edutech Institute of Technology Educational Development Foundation. EIT is the most well-known name in the field of Information Technology, Vocational & Professional Studies. At EIT we aim to reshape the attitude of students to facilitate them to work on jobs they fit best. We encourage creativity and sustainability. We nudge students to come with an open mind and be ready to change.

The Institute, committed to Education and Innovation, started with Information Technology-Computer Education, Industrial Training Courses, Vocational training program and any other personality development training program. EIT has emerged as a Dream Destination for students seeking to excel in Technical and Vocational Training Education and it has always emphasized in providing quality education and facilities to its students. The institution enables them to be placed as the best professionals in industries and make them enter into high level programmes with competence and confidence.

Started as a Computer Education Centre, it soon grown up to be the leading organization with many other sectors. The main venture of EIT is Edutech Institute of Technology Educational Development Society which looks after its various branches all over the state. It also offers courses under the DOEACC society. On 2nd March 2017, Edutech Institute of Technology Educational Development Society was awarded the prestigious NCVT recognition by Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training, Department of Labour under Ministry of Labour (DGE&T) Assam, and is currently affiliated to State Council of Vocational Training (SCVT).

Approvals & Affiliations

The Institute is approved by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, Ministry of MSME, Government of India, State Council of Technical Education (SCTE), and Government of Assam, and is currently affiliated to the Gauhati University. The Institute is offering IT Courses-Computer Education to Vocational Training & ITI Courses—including Electrician, MMV, Automobile Engineering, Stenography, COPA, ITSM—or various training programmes under a single umbrella. EIT provides scope for students to prepare for various job-related competitive examinations and develop various soft skills to make them acceptable for employment.

EIT follows the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with an outcome-based approach. The dynamic curriculum helps the students to remain updated with time. EIT believes in the overall development of students and is committed to ensuring their success in life by offering holistic education. EIT has an expert team of members and faculty to teach better and impart quality education. At EIT, we try our best to keep the institute neat and clean. Tobacco or alcohol is strictly restricted in the campus. We wish to provide our students a calm environment where they can perform their best without any unwanted chaos. Attendance is strictly monitored, and a student is blacklisted if he or she fails to maintain 85% attendance throughout the course. At EIT, we too provide the best opportunities for vocational as well as holistic development. We truly believe success is a tradition and nothing should come in between that.
